A Few Favourite Family Friendly Restaurants and Cafes in New Zealand

Even the best parents in the world need a break every now and again from cooking for the entire family.
That’s why we’ve come up with this list of the best family-friendly restaurants in New Zealand. So throw down the spatula, turn off the oven and take the whanau out to one of these great family-friendly restaurants around the country.

Swashbucklers, Auckland
No doubt you've spotted this restaurant as you’ve driven past on the Auckland motorway. Swashbucklers is an exciting place to dine for children and adults will be impressed with its specialty seafood dishes. (the calamari is fantastic)

Prego, Ponsonby

My go too for meals out with little ones. Staff are amazing and accommodating and the menu is superb.
